We are seeking the services of an experienced analyst to participate as part of a team for ONE Education data migration activities. This will involve data migration from legacy systems, assisting with the go-live, and sustainment. Salesforce Service Cloud or Public Sector Cloud knowledge and experience are highly desirable.
The duties include:
- Develop an expert understanding of the data model, including validations, for the new Salesforce solution build by performing knowledge transfer from the build team
- Assist the data migration team with the preparation of the data migration mapping from the legacy SQL databases to the Salesforce data model
- Assist the data migration team with merging, cleansing and validating of the SQL database data
- The Skills Framework for the Information Age (SFIA)
**Job Descriptions**:
- Develop an expert understanding of the data model, including validations, for the new Salesforce solution build by performing knowledge transfer from the build team
- Assist the data migration team with the preparation of the data migration mapping from the legacy SQL databases to the Salesforce data model
- Assist the data migration team with merging, cleansing and validating of the SQL database data
**Essential criteria**
- A strong understanding of entity-relationship database design concepts and demonstrated experience designing enterprise-level databases.
- Demonstrated experience designing complex queries for SQL Server.
- Experience validating and cleansing data.
- Experience migrating data between SQL Server databases.
- Ability to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data migration patterns, processes, and/or tools.
- NV1 security clearance
**Desirable criteria**
- Salesforce Service Cloud or Public Sector Cloud knowledge and experience
- Experience with engaging with business areas to understand business process, data and requirements gathering
- Canberra-based or the ability to travel to Canberra for face-to-face meetings once a month
