The hotel features 239 well appointed rooms, along with a great restaurant, a cafe, bar, heated rooftop swimming pool, spa, sauna and gym. Business guests are well catered for at Mercure Perth with 6 modern meeting rooms available, accommodating up to 350 delegates.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

- Undertaking general repairs and maintenance including some preventative maintenance
- Servicing of plant and equipment as directed
- Painting
- General carpentry

Casual hours, Monday to Friday, providing additional support as required to the existing Maintenance team.
**Qualifications**
The successful applicant will:

- Have experience working in a similar role
- Have a clear understanding of workplace health and safety practices
- Be prepared to assist other operational areas of the hotel if required
- Have the ability to work unsupervised
- Have the ability to work fast and efficiently, ensuring the job is completed to the correct standard
- Solid customer service skills including good communication
