Duty Care Services is looking for an experienced and exceptional support worker to join our team in Melbourne, reporting to the Managing director.

Main Tasks:

- Provide support to patients with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
- Understand and provide appropriate care to patients with low needs to patients with high needs who demonstrate a range of challenging behaviours
- Assisting with activities relating to daily living, community support, and empowerment
- Work under general guidance from the person seeking support, and their family, within clearly defined guidelines

You must have, at a minimum:

- Must hold a relevant CertIII, Cert IV, Diploma or Tertiary qualification (or its equivalent) / including demonstrated knowledge or experience in working with NDIS participants with complex needs.
- Access to a reliable and roadworthy car for work purposes, comprehensive insurance and a valid Full Victorian Driving License
- Current accreditation in Medication Administration, First Aid, Fire Safety, Manual Handling, or the capacity to gain competency within the first 3 months of employment.

Must maintain registrations and qualifications at all times.
- Completed NDIS Worker Orientation.
- National Police Check
- Access to a smartphone or another device with internet access.

**Salary**: $41.00 - $45.00 per hour

- Australia (required)
