**Job Description**:
We are currently looking for a passionate Data Centre Technician to join our highly skilled facilities team at our new M3 facility in West Footscray.

The purpose of this role is to support the Facility Management with the day-to-day operations of the data centre by providing high quality & efficient technical maintenance and customer service. Key Responsibilities include:

- Assist with customer equipment installations
- Attend to Remote Hands requests ensuring they are delivered to specification and within SLAs
- Provisioning of customer supporting infrastructure (power and connectivity)
- Assist with monitoring and maintenance of all critical infrastructure including electrical and mechanical systems
- Ensure that any facility incidents are identified, escalated, and resolved in a timely manner
- General facility maintenance and upkeep, ensuring we deliver a quality service, and the site is maintained in a world class condition for our customers

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent customer service, communication skills and a 'can do' attitude
- Basic knowledge of data centres, data cabling and cable management
- A passion for learning about data centres and how things work
- Keen interest in solving and fixing problems
- TAFE Cert III in Telecommunications (desirable)
- Electrical or mechanical qualifications are desirable but not essential
