**About Financial Operations**:
Financial Operations is comprised of three operational finance teams; Accounts Receivable and Banking, Accounts Payable and Taxation.

**Your Role**:
The AO3 Assistant Finance Officer sits within the Accounts Receivable and Banking team, located in Brisbane, reporting to a Team Leader. The role provides accounts receivable services to the departments corporate business units as well as accounts receivable advice and support to Queensland state schools.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Providing efficient, timely and accurate data entry of customer master data, customer invoicing and reconciliation of customer accounts, utilising the departments financial management systems including SAP ECC.
- Undertaking and processing allocated work in accordance with legislative, policy and procedural requirements.
- Maintaining accurate financial and administrative records utilising the departments record management systems.
- Providing exceptional customer support services to internal and external clients for the work unit.
- Assisting in identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.

About You
As the Assistant Finance Officer, Accounts Receivable you will:

- Utilise your excellent time management skills to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines, ensuring accuracy.
- Use effective communication skills to foster positive working relationships within the team, the Division and with our internal and external customers.
- Commit to a culture of continuous improvement by assisting to identify and implement business process improvements.
