**Role and Responsibilities**

As an Admissions and AN-ACC Officer, you will play a crucial role in our facility by:

- **Managing Admissions Process**: Guiding families and potential residents through the admissions process with empathy and professionalism.
- **AN-ACC Assessments**: Conducting accurate AN-ACC assessments and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintaining detailed and accurate records of all admissions and assessments.
- **Liaison Work**: Acting as a point of contact between families, residents, and the facility to ensure smooth communication and transitions.
- **Compliance**: Ensuring all admissions and assessments adhere to current aged care policies and guidelines.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and at least five years full time equivalent post registration experience.
- Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Previous experience in aged care admissions and/or AN-ACC assessments.
- A good understanding and experience in the aged care standards and accreditation process, particularly AN-ACC.
- Highly developed time management and organisational skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- High level of data entry accuracy
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in Aged Care, Nursing, Social Work or Allied Health would be highly regarded
- Proven ability to think outside the box when identifying and engaging alternative referral channels
- A current driver's licence
- NDIS Workers Screening Check within the last 5 years
- Evidence of COVID and Flu Vaccinations
