**Lead UI Designer**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain design guidelines and principles to ensure consistency across all products, with a focus on design systems, pattern libraries, and UI motion design.
- Lead the design process for various digital products, including wireframes, prototypes, and final designs, with a focus on demonstrating UI motion design within the context of design systems and motion libraries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and UX designers, to develop innovative design solutions.
- Conduct user research to gain insights into user needs and behaviours, and incorporate these findings into design solutions.
- Providing guidance and support throughout the design process for junior designers.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure that designs meet the highest quality standards, with a focus on animation and motion design.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies, and share knowledge with the team.

**Must have**:

- Bachelor's degree in design or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI design
- A strong portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in designing digital products, **specifically with experience in design systems, pattern libraries, and UI motion design.**:

- Excellent knowledge of design tools such as **Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe After Effects and Lotte.**:

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present and explain design solutions to stakeholders.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

This role is for someone who is specifically focused on UI motion design within the context of design systems and motion libraries, and who is doing that work day-to-day, as opposed to a hybrid UI Visual/Motion Designer.

**Must be based in Sydney or Melbourne**

**Must have PR or be an Australian Citizen**
