Imagination Sydney is looking for an experienced, client facing Build Producer for a full time role. Primarily focussed on producing custom build and exhibition elements for a wide range of events and experiential activations. Experience with producing other elements of events would be an advantage as the role will involve working on projects in an event producer capacity when required.
The role requires an ability to work closely with the Imagination creative team and develop ideas into physical experiences. Crucial to our success is the ability to drive our world-class suppliers to scope all build and installation elements
Confidence to act as the sole agency representative onsite and experience in managing detailed budgets and production timelines is essential.
**Role Overview**:
The Producer is the communication link between Imagination and its best-in-class suppliers. The Producer is at the centre of all deliverables on a project and is responsible for quality, timing, budget and OHS.
This specific role of Producer primarily focuses on the production of** custom build and exhibition elements**, becoming more general event focussed when required. Pending project size & scope, it requires working in a team or working alone, engaging experts, being 'hands on' when required, attention to detail and a complete overview, researching methods and products and delivering newly innovated solutions.

As part of a growing **build-environment team**, the Producer will be responsible for leading small to medium projects or being part of a larger team on more complex projects. In this particular role, the Producer will be responsible for taking creative ideas, and turning them into amazing experiences.
We will look to the Producer to develop strong client relationships within client accounts and seek to become a go-to and requested resource by our key clients for excellent event delivery. Our supplier relationships are also essential to the successful delivery of events, and the Producer will be responsible for building on existing and new relationships with world-class suppliers.
There is an opportunity to nurture and mentor junior members of the team and in turn get exposure to other departments within the business to grow your experience and skill base.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
The Producer is responsible for budget, scheduling and delivery of all logístical, technical and fabricated elements, at all stages of a project.
**Stage 1: Kick off**
- Review client brief and assess requirements with Account Management & Creative
- Review and agree initial budget split with Account Management & Creative
- Produce overall pitch timeline with Account Management & Creative
- Produce Scope of Works (when necessary)
- Agree initial design deliverables, based on the agreed production budget
**Stage 2: Proposal**
- Issue specification/tender documents to potential suppliers
- Venue search, liaise with the venue, site recce
- Liaise with Creative based on specification/tender responses
- Ensure design changes are communicated to all relevant parties
- Select the correct suppliers for the project
- Produce production budget
- Produce production timeline and on-site schedules
- Produce payment schedule
- Review Health & Safety issues and implications
- Attend client presentation
**Stage 3: Production**
Pre-Production Period
- Ensure all deliverables remain within the production budget
- Ensure all deliverables remain within the parameters of the design
- Refine the production timeline and on-site schedules
- Issue Purchase orders and manage payment schedule
- Engage appropriate delegate registration process
- Engage talent and performance artists
- Manage delegate travel and accommodation process
- Monitor supplier technical/engineering drawings and static calculations
- Present final drawings and calculations to organisers / local authorities
- Manage fabrication / production of all items
- Coordinate between all technical departments and suppliers (AV, IT, Production Technology, MultiMedia, Film and Video, Technical Exhibits etc)
- Ensure all information from technical departments is distributed to all relevant fabricators
- Ensure any changes are communicated to all relevant parties (Change Management)
- Produce Health and Safety Management Plan
- Ensure Health & Safety Management Plan is understood and implemented
- Manage junior team (Production Coordinators) as required
On-site Period
- Managing total installation
- Managing the on-site schedule
- Managing Product Deliveries
- Ensuring any late on-site changes are within budget or agreed on Change Order forms
- Ensuring that quality of delivery is maintained
- Ensuring snagging and handover runs smoothly
- Manage and maintain the technical and logístical running of the event
