**Your New Role**

As a **Support Worker**with **Acquired Brain Injury Services**, you’ll play a vital role in empowering clients to live independently and achieve their personal goals. You will provide compassionate and person-centered support tailored to each individual’s needs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Daily Living Support**: Assist with household tasks and meal preparation.
- **Community Access & Engagement**: Support clients in participating in social, recreational, and community activities.
- **Rehabilitation & Goal Achievement**: Encourage skill-building and independence through tailored support plans.
- **Personal Care & Behaviour Support**: Provide respectful assistance with personal hygiene, mobility, and behaviour management.
- **Empowerment & Decision-Making**: Foster independence by encouraging clients to make their own choices.
- **Documentation & Reporting**: Maintain accurate records, incident reports, and communicate effectively with management.

**Who We’re Looking For**
- **Experienced & Qualified**: Relevant qualifications and/or industry experience in disability, aged care, or community support.
- **Reliable & Flexible**: Ability to adapt to various client needs and work different shifts, including weekends and overnight.
- **Empathetic & Respectful**: Committed to supporting individuals with dignity, independence, and respect.
- **Team Player**: Works well independently and as part of a collaborative team environment.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: Able to engage effectively with clients, families, and management.
- **Valid Driver’s License & Vehicle**: Access to a registered and insured vehicle for transport and a valid NSW Driver Licence as required.
- **Compliance Ready**: NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011), and up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination Certificate
