**Kumon Method Teaching Assistant - Balgowlah**

Kumon Education Centres offer students of all ages individualised study programs in mathematics and English. Currently, the Kumon Balgowlah Study Centre is seeking casual staff members to assist in the operations of its education centre.

If you have strong maths & English skills, can organise others and motivate individual students to work to their best ability, then this is the role for you

Our staffs are filled with a great team of Senior high school students and university students. We are looking to expand and main duties include:

- Motivate and encourage students to learn.
- Assist students with maths and English classwork.
- Mark and record student's classwork and homework.
- Possibility of working with pre-school students.

**You must be**:

- A people person.
- Proficient in higher-level maths and English.
- Organised and able to multi-task.
- A fast learner and responsible.
- Able to work on one of the above days/times above listed.

Successful applicants may need to have or obtain a PAID/EMPLOYEE Working With Children Check (WWCC).

**APPLICATION PROCEDURE**:

- Days and Times you are available.
- Duration of shift required (2 or 3 hours)
- If you have or prepared to obtain a WWCC.
- Subjects/courses currently studying.
- A brief description of yourself.

Mondays, Tuesdays or Thursday only

Flexible start times 3:15/3:30/4:00/4:30pm

Shifts available from 2 or 3 hours

**Job Types**: Casual, Part-time
Part-time hours: 3-6 per week

**Salary**: Up to $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Balgowlah, NSW 2093: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
