Technology Solutions Manager

Reporting to the Group Manager - Customer Performance, the **Technology Solutions Manager** is accountable for the successful management of the Technology solutions team to ensure the successful delivery of technology solutions that fully support the business needs and operational goals of our customers.

The successful individual will also be responsible for the strategic direction of the team which includes delivery of product sales to meet Caterpillar and WesTrac targets, integration/alignment with the broader sales team, cultural and process driven team improvement.

This role is critical to ensure our customers realise the full value of their investment in MineStar technology solutions, WesTrac generates returns in line with our Shareholders’ expectations, and emerging technology products continue to grow market share.

**Location**: Perth Precinct (Perth Airport, WA)

**Roster**:Monday - Friday, 8.5-hour days

**To be successful the following is required**:

- Proven previous experience in a technical or technology role in the Mining or similar industry
- Demonstrated experience in designing technology solutions for major operations
- Formal leadership training (e.g. Frontline Management, MBA) _(Desirable)_
- Project Management and/or Business Improvement experience and qualifications _(Desirable)_
- In-depth understanding of mining technology products' value proposition, especially in safety, operations, maintenance, and autonomy
- Strong knowledge of information systems, applied technology, and equipment technology solutions
- Proven agile learner, naturally inquisitive, highly proactive, with excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow through with required actions
- Excellent financial and commercial acumen, with experience in issue and risk mitigation and negotiation skills
- Outstanding customer service skills, with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
- Advanced communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal - to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders
- Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities to achieve tight deadlines
- Ability to analyse data and compile comprehensive reports
- Knowledge of DBSi, Caterpillar systems (SiS, etc.), Caterpillar technologies (MineStar, etc.), and WesTrac business processes _(Desirable)_
