**9About the Role**
- This role of the support worker is to provide exceptional service whilst supporting clients to meet their goals as set out in their NDIS plan. This includes;_
- Working autonomously to provide appropriate levels of support to maintain and improve the client’s level of independence. This may include community participation, skill building, vocational preparation, relationship building, and various other needs.
- Respond to the client’s needs and collaborate positively with their families, support people and others in their lives.
- Keep accurate and complete records of activities via progress notes
- Work within the NDIS Code of Conduct
**Who you are**
- To be successful in this role we are looking for someone who has the following attributes;_
- **Working with Children**:
- **NDIS Worker Screening**:
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- An understanding of NDIS and a commitment to its principles
- Experience with high care needs including, Personal care, the use of Hoists and other Manual handling apparatus, and Community access
- Willingness to provide domestic assistance
- A passion for assisting individuals with a disability to improve their quality of life and to reach their potential
- Driver's Licence and own car, and a willingness to use for transporting clients (where required, mileage reimbursed)
The following shifts need to be filled ;
**Week 1 ;**
Tuesday 12:00pm-5:00pm
Thursday 12:00-3:00pm
Friday : 9:30-4:30pm
**Week 2;**
Tuesday 1:00-6:00pm
Thursday 12:00-3:00pm
Friday 9:30-4:30pm
Sunday 12:00-2:00pm
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: From $32.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Morning shift
Supplementary Pay:
- Overtime pay
Work Location: In person
