**Your role**

Come and join our team at our **St Brigid’s Green in Maroubra** where we are leading the industry in driving our award winning ‘Better Together’ model, raising the quality of living in aged care.

We are looking for a **Cleaner **who can also step in and perform some **Catering Assistant** tasks, on a permanent part time basis for a minimum 15 hours per week.

As the **Cleaner/Catering Assistant** you will be responsible for carrying out safe and efficient housekeeping and cleaning services that focus on the needs and wellbeing of our residents as well as being required to perform some catering assistant responsibilities, such as preparation of food and serving meals to residents.

**All about you**

We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated individual who is passionate about providing the best customer service. Having come from a similar role within, Aged Care or Hospitality, you will demonstrate the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

- Effective communication with residents and family members.
- Strong understanding of infection control standards and maintain compliance in this area.
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience, in hotel/serviced apartments or health services - preferred.
- Bonus if you have also worked in hospitality.
- Availability to work across 7 days.
- Food safety certificate will need to be obtained after successful
