The award winning BMD Northcliffe Surf Club is looking for an experienced Kitchen Hand to join our team.

**The position**

Primary responsibilities of this role includes:

- Thorough cleaning of dishes, cutlery, crockery and kitchen utensils;
- Efficient cleaning of kitchen/food areas and equipment;
- Pot and ware washing;
- Operation of commercial dishwasher and kitchen equipment;
- Movement and disposal of waste;
- Restocking of pantry and cool room items;
- Adherence to Workplace Health and Safety guidelines and procedures.

- Thrives in a busy environment
- Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work tasks
- Is reliable and motivated
- Ability to adapt to changes in work flow and to follow verbal or written instruction
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of cleaning and food safety principles
- Confirmed experience in a food services environment

Remuneration will be paid at Award Level 1 or 2 (depending on experience/qualifications) by the hour. You will be paid all applicable penalty rates including overtime, public holiday pay, weekend rates etc

**Salary**: $26.15 - $36.61 per hour
