- Reference Position Purpose
The purpose of this position is to establish** **and maintain strong relationships with clients and potential clients of the Company and negotiate profitable sales to those clients in a professional manner, in order to ensure achievement of gross profit incomes to budget levels established by the Company.
This position description does not form a comprehensive list of duties and can be varied or added to within the scope of the position and as discussed during the performance planning & review process (PPR).
The right person will look after flooring contractors, have previous B2B account management experience in the building materials industry.
Travel will be required to West NSW (Dubbo, Bathurst area) and North NSW (Coffs, Port Macquarie etc).
Areas of Responsibility
**Sales**
- Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume with assigned accounts
- Coordinates activities on projects with other Account Managers as required
- Identifies opportunities for new accounts
- Identify key buying influences within each project and identify their role
- Identify product and service opportunities
- Use effectively and maintain accuracy of information in internal CRM tools and Interface Advance selling process to document status and progress on all selling opportunities
- Timely and accurate use of the CRM, and meet agreed KPI’s
- Responsible for forecasting
**Market Awareness**
- Attend industry functions to develop broad market awareness and develop external awareness of Interface through networking at events
- Provides feedback on the marketplace that could affect the Company.
- Identify key buying influences within each account and identify their role
- Understand and document the key driver for selected accounts
**Account Management**
- Develop and maintain an account map of all identified accounts
- Develop territory and customer visit plan
- Develop & document strategic objectives for nominated accounts and develop a SMART plan for each account
- Deliver on corresponding activities and KPI’s.
- Regular business performance reviews with nominated accounts
**Internal Company Support**
- Co-ordinate the involvement of company personnel (e.g. supply chain, customer service, marketing, finance, custom design, other sales team members) to meet customer’s expectations
- Identify potential customer engagement improvement.
**Reporting & General Duties**
- Produces and works to annual plan for product/service review of each client.
- Completes all required weekly/monthly/quarterly reports and lodges them on time as well as engages in regular and face to face updates
- Ensures client database information is accurate and up to date
- Ensures quotes are accurate and up to date
- Willingness and ability to complete additional task and projects as required by the business and requested by Management.
