**Acu-Tech, **a nationwide leader in the manufacture and supply polyethylene pipe, products and services, is seeking an experienced **Trade Assistant **to join our experienced and service orientated team.

**What will be your role?**

We are seeking a highly experienced and enthusiastic **Trade Assistant **on a Fulltime / Casual basis. This is an incredibly rewarding role with loads of variety, both in terms of the functions you’ll perform and the equipment you’ll work with.

**Key task and responsibilities**:

- Cutting, shaping and assembling steel and other metals
- Selecting the correct welding machine for the job and set up accordingly
- Work with spray painting
- Read, interpret and work to engineering drawings
- Following up with departments on effectiveness of fabrication or repair

**To be considered you must meet the following criteria**:

- Experienced Trade Assistant and able to use different types of hand tools
- Able to read engineering drawings and understand work instructions
- Understanding of Safety systems and processes including Risk Assessments, incident reporting and planned inspections
- Flexible, punctual & motivated with a Can-Do attitude.
- High Risk Work License: Forklift (EWP & Confined Spaces desirable)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $30.85 - $32.00 per hour
