**About the role**
We are currently seeking a capable Debtors Clerk to join our growing Finance Team on a **6 or 12 month contract**. This is a great opportunity for a student or recent graduate, who is looking to take their first step in the corporate environment, whilst still developing in the professional services industry.
**Responsibilities**
You will take responsibility and ownership over a range of tasks, including but not limited to:
- accounts receivable/debt collection and reporting;
- daily bank reconciliations;
- accounts payable;
- preparation of daily cashflow report;
- liaising with clients, staff and partners;
- billing;
- trust accounting; and
- monthly financial reporting.
**About you**
To be considered for this role, you will have:
- completed a bachelors degree in accounting, or currently studying towards degree (must be able to work 4 days per week); and
- beginner to intermediate Excel skills.
In addition, you will:
- have excellent organisational skills;
- be comfortable learning new systems, technology and processes with the ability to problem solve and drive innovation; and
- have strong written and verbal communication skills.
