**Billings Clerk**

This role will be based at **Mt Wilga Private** in Hornsby, Sydney.

Permanent Part Time

**About the Role**

Key accountabilities of the role include:

- Liaising with Health Funds and Customers
- Handling account queries
- Following up on unpaid accounts (debt collection)
- Maintaining the Aged Trial Balance to required KPIs
- Generation and submission of accounts to patients, health funds and third party payers
- Interpreting health fund contracts

**About You**
- This position is suited to a reliable, self-motivated individual with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail, and to someone who can manage their workload to meet key deadlines.
- Additionally, you should possess a strong customer focus and demonstrate the ability to communicate well with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation.

To be successful in this role, you will also have the following criteria:
**Essential**:

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Strong work ethics and reliable worker
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes and meet KPI targets
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure
- Intermediate Computer literacy in Microsoft Excel

**Desirable**:

- Accounts Receivable knowledge
- Experience in hospital mainframe systems & Doctor’s practice software
- Relevant health services experience
- Knowledge of Health fund contracts and accounting processes
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Certificate in Medical Terminology
