What’s the job?

Day-to-day accountabilities:

- Delivery and teaching of the Nursing Program content utilising flexible learning modes to accommodate student needs ensuring compliance with all regulatory frameworks
- Mentor students to understand and utilise the Codes and Standards of Professional Practice relating to Nursing
- Utilise learning technology effectively and embed in design and delivery
- Engage in student centred learning and teaching practices and maintaining an active and positive education experience
- Provide on-going assessment support for students to satisfactorily complete assessment tasks

Who you are

To be successful in this role you will be:

- Experience in education/training and assessment
- Understanding of pedagogical and/or adult learning principles relevant to the student cohort being taught.
- Postgraduate qualifications (Masters)
- Current Division 1 Nurse Registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience in student-centred teaching and the ability to work within a professional and motivated Academic team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to contribute to the academic and administrative environment of the faculty
