Field Service Supervisor

- Reporting into the Area Manager Aftermarket Service, as the Field service Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing Earthmoving equipment, with occasional work involving CAT Marine & Industrial equipment. Your role will focus on leading, supporting, and coordinating a high-performing team of Field Service Technicians, ensuring customer needs are met and work is completed within agreed timeframes.
- As the primary point of contact for both customers and technicians, you will play a key role in managing job scheduling, labour allocation, work scopes, pricing, and invoicing. You will also drive continuous improvement initiatives across all areas of responsibility.
**Roster**: 9 day on 5 days off (Tues - Wed) 10.5Hours per day (including unpaid meal breaks)
**Location**: Perth Branch, WA
**What you’ll do**:
- Lead and mentor a team of highly skilled technicians
- Maintain and develop strong customer relationships
- Schedule and allocate work orders for the Field Service team
- Manage rosters and approve timesheets
- Plan labour effectively to meet productivity targets
- Provide technical support to the Field Service team
- Champion a strong safety culture, ensuring a safe work environment at all times
**Skills and Experience**:
- Trade qualification as a mechanic, with experience working on CAT equipment
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management skills
- Proven problem-solving, analytical, and negotiation abilities
- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Advanced stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
- Highly developed communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)
- Proficiency in computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office
