In this role, the Tender & Grants Enabler, will lead the development of documents that support the national expansion of New Horizons including through tenders & grants, documentation supporting tenders & grants, and other strategic projects.
This role will be based at the North Ryde head office, Monday to Friday with a staggered start (of your choice) between 7am-9am.
**Key Responsibilities**Write, edit, and submit tenders and grants submissions ensuring accuracy, compliance, proofing and sign off. Own the submission process and communication with funders.-
- Collaborate with SMEs, coordinate and collate the response, receiving feedback and reviewing the document for final submission-
- Develop and maintain tendering systems including management of records, filing, document control and appropriate security of information.-
- Be knowledgeable in tender and grants frameworks/and or pricing framework including acquittal rules.-
- Maintain ongoing contractual agreements for governing and funding bodies, SOW, purchase orders, renewals, and other records. Coordinate implementation to handover to Product Manager.-
- Undertake general research to gather information for the purpose of supporting tender proposal writing.-
- Perform forward planning to prepare for future opportunities, informed by the Strategic Plan by conducting market analysis on tender opportunities and grants and network as relevant.-
- Monitor and capture emerging local, national, and international opportunities for consideration by ensuring New Horizon's is on the right channels, lists, subscriptions for optimal tendering.-
- Liaise with internal/external stakeholders, as required to engage, facilitate, and develop partnerships which effectively support tender proposals and agreements on an ongoing basis-
- Monitor the tender and grants process, responses, success rate, ROIs, reporting, outcomes, month by month data comparisons, timelines, individual and overarching tender tracking.-
- Adhere to and promote fair, ethical, and professional work practices in accordance with New Horizons policies, procedures, work health and safety and other relevant standards and legislative requirements**Key Requirements**Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or relevant experience-
- Demonstrated experience in grant tender writing and a strong understanding of the NFP community services sector.-
- Demonstrated project management knowledge and ability, including the ability to initiate, plan, organise, establish, and task priorities with a high level of attention to detail whilst communicating with a diverse range of relevant stakeholders.-
- Exceptional customer service, verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail highly regarded-
- Demonstrated research capabilities and skills.-
- Demonstrated experience managing competing demands and meeting deadlines.-
- Strong team player with a proven ability to work both independently and as part of a teamOutstanding verbal & written communication skills-
- Ability to build and develop internal & external stakeholder relationships-
