- Advise our clients on the network planning and connection of renewable power generation projects, energy storage projects, islanded grids and transmission level power networks operation.
- High level engineering consulting and client management skills, experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects.
- Join one of the largest Australian community of specialists in grid scale renewable power generation and energy storage, and in mining rail and fleet decarbonisation, to work collaboratively across the business and with clients bringing diverse skillsets together and innovation to complex problems.
- Provide project and technical support for current internal projects and greenfield prospects and actively participate in development activities, including meeting with renewables, visiting landowners, and associated design activities.
- Accountable for the overall success of all aspects of projects assigned by the Technical Director. This includes but is not limited to contract negotiation, project management, managing timeliness, quality, risk management, project financial performance, communication, and scope management of the projects, in line with the Aurecon methodology.
- Accountable for effective closeout of projects and debrief on all projects with the client, Client Relationship Executive/Managers and Project Leaders; responsible for providing technical expertise and overseeing all technical aspects of projects.
- Responsible for, achievement of revenue and relevant utilisation targets, developing of client proposals and tenders in conjunction with business development. This includes bid planning, facilitation, costing, writing, technical inputs, and signoff as required.
What we are looking for:
- Be degree qualified in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering
- Ideally you will demonstrate extensive experience in transmission & distribution to include experience with 500 KVA transmission line design.
- Strong engineering consulting and client management skills, experienced in the delivery of major and/or complex design projects.
- Excellent communicator with well-developed commercial, analytical, and technical skills, with a strong client focus and proven record in business development.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership to coach and mentor a small team of junior staff.
