We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Disability Support Worker (DSW) with experience in stoma care and waste management to join our team. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality personal care, including stoma care and waste management, tailored to individual client needs. Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and mobility support. Monitor and maintain stoma appliances, ensuring hygiene and comfort for clients. Support clients with medication reminders and administration (if trained and approved). Promote independence and well-being through respectful and empowering care. Document and report any changes in client health or care needs to the relevant supervisor. Assist with community access, social activities, and appointments as required. Uphold confidentiality and respect the dignity and rights of clients at all times. Requirements: Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field. Proven experience with stoma care and waste management. Current First Aid and CPR certifications. Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (if required for client transport). Current Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance. Up-to-date COVID-19 and flu vaccinations (as per government requirements). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Empathy, patience, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. Desirable: Experience working with individuals with diverse disabilities. Manual handling training and experience. Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
