**About the School**:
Welcome to Redland District Special School which is located in Thornlands and close to beautiful Moreton Bay. Thornlands is about 40 minutes from the heart of Brisbane and surrounded by koala bushland and the sea.
Redland District Special School provides educational programs for students with disabilities from birth through to the completion of the allocation of 26 Semesters (including Prep) of State Schooling typically 17 years of age.
About the Role
As a cleaner you will, contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the school site by providing a high level of cleaning support.The position is for 30 hours per week, working as part of a team. Cleaning will be rostered over a variety of cleaning spaces with duties including but not limited too:

- Classroom and office cleaning
- General mopping, vaccumming and dusting
- Wiping down benches and desks
- Cleaning and sanitising toilet faciliites
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
- Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters
- Activating and disarming school security system as required
- Blowing of external areas

When working in regulated employment an employee must have a current Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
