Lecturer - Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality

**About the role**:
- Deliver independent teaching in the relevant discipline and coordinate or lead other staff as required.
- Ensure effective and engaging learning is taking place in the classroom, provide feedback and support to students, and assess student learning outcomes using both formative and summative assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessments and report student progress to relevant parties.
- Participate in professional development activities to enhance the quality of teaching and stay up to date with current and emerging principles and practices.
- Report incidents of potential breaches of the student's Code of Conduct or other policies governing students.
- Report incidents where staff or students are not showing care for the physical facilities of Acknowledge Education.
**About you**:
Ideally, completion, or enrolment in a PhD in an area related to the area of teaching is desirable with relevant tertiary teaching experience with demonstrated teaching achievements and results. You will be someone that has the ability to improve teaching methods and the ability and willingness to use technology or other innovative strategies for teaching and learning and for engaging students. You must have experience teaching in an educational setting with culturally and linguistically diverse populations.
