The Steelers Club is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and energetic professional. We seek leaders who can bring a genuine positive attitude and lead from the front, a willingness to learn, and an interest in staff development as well as your own personal growth.

The role will be classified as a Level A Manager under the Award, and will be paid 50% above the Award rate.

The role of Team Leader is a dual leadership role:

- supervising bar, gaming, reception, and function staff rostered to work on their shifts, and
- the ongoing review, development, and performance management of assigned team members who may not always be rostered on the same shifts.

The roles will share a 3-week rotating roster, configured as follows:

- Week 1 - Friday through Monday inclusive, night shift
- Week 2 - Thursday through Sunday inclusive, day shift
- Week 3 - Tuesday through Thursday inclusive, night shift and Monday, day shift.

The roster allows for one (1) weekend (Friday through Sunday) off every three (3) weeks.

**SELECTION CRITERIA**
- Cert IV in Frontline Management or equivalent experience
- Hands-on leadership experience within a Licensed Club or hospitality venue (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a small team to achieve or exceed its accountabilities and goals
- “Can Do” attitude
- Demonstrated ability to model and inspire a positive culture
- Experience managing performance, via recognition, regular review, setting expectations, and effective handling of performance that is not meeting expectations
- Responsible Service of Alcohol and Conduct of Gambling accreditations
- Extensive customer service focus and experience
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Confident in the use of Information Technology and systems
- Personal organisation skills including time management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
