**About Us**

**The Role**

Our client is looking for a motivated and experienced Kitchen Designer to join their team based in Mitchell.

**Responsibilities would include**
- Site measurement of both new and existing interior spaces for cabinetry installations
- Create production drawings for manufacturing from architectural plans and specifications
- Ensure the compatibility of appliance and ceramic plumbing fixture selections with cabinetry designs
- Final approval of cabinetry designs prior to manufacture
- Oversee the delivery of consistent high-quality finishes for handover to clients
- Read and interpret plans for production
- Work on multiple projects, ensuring tasks are completed in accordance with the production schedule
- Read and understand architectural drawings
- Draw/design jobs for customers for sign off before production
- Produce shop drawings and cutting lists for production

**Skills/Experience**
- Knowledge & experience working with Cabinet Vision or similar program
- Cabinet making experience is desirable but not essential
- Ability to effectively collaborate and support the objectives of the design requirements
- Ability to read and understand plans & drawings relating to cabinetry
- Strong written & verbal communication skills with colleagues and clients
- Ability to effectively problem solve and provide realistic solutions
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Current C class drivers license required
