About us

Hello, my name is Charlie. I am the owner of Allsorts of Sweets. Please allow me to give you a brief introduction to our business.

We sell sweets, crisps and groceries from all over the world, mainly carrying products from the UK. We have a wide range of sweets and our customers come from worldwide. They are surprised, delighted and grateful to find their own home-grown speciality sweets overseas.

Working in one of the busiest tourist areas, customers are friendly, and patient and enjoy talking to you. There are no hazards and the job is mainly about informing customers about the products, cashiering, and organising the displays. There is no need to overthink and there are no heavy loads. You will definitely revel in the happiness and appreciation of the customers and enjoy this job.

Tasks & responsibilities
- Serve customers by helping them select products, Drive sales through the engagement of customers and sharing product knowledge, and address customer concerns and questions.
- We are handling payments, display products, and helping with special promotions.
- Overseeing deliveries, checking the best before date, reporting or returning overdated delivery.
- Input deliveries to the system.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Maintain the shop cleanliness to the highest standards, cleaning the floor and all windows inside and out every shift

Qualifications & experience
- Experience in operating cash registers
- Retail or service industry experience
- Experience in working independently
- Able to open and close the shop independently
