**ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN**

Next Level Elevators Pty Ltd is a fast-growing home elevator company based in Sydney and Melbourne. We are offering a full-time position to an employee who can contribute to our Sydney team environment and bring their experience to the table.

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineering Technician to join our team.
- at least 3 years of relevant work experience or a suitable qualification plus 2 years work experience

- confident communicator and ability to effectively liaise with Engineers, Architects, Electricians, team members and clients
- current drivers licence

The tasks of the position are:

- Prepare blueprints and installation drawings; Draw or modify diagrams and write engineering specifications to clarify design details and functional criteria.
- Calculate project cost, estimate of material quantities and costs and work-time estimates.
- Write commissioning procedures for electrical installations.
- Provide technical assistance and resolution when electrical or engineering problems are encountered before, during, and after installation.
- Evaluate the client’s engineering proposals, installation drawings and design comments for sound electrical engineering practice and conformance with established safety and design regulations.
- Visit elevator construction sites to observe conditions impacting design of the lifts and to recommend solutions to technical design problems, involving electrical systems equipment (that arise during construction)
- Collaborate with Lift electricians and lift mechanics to identify, define, and solve installation problems to ensure that they comply with safety and regulatory requirements.
- Assemble electrical and electronic lift components and prototypes according to engineering data and knowledge of electrical principles, using hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Install and maintain electrical lift control systems and equipment.
- Modify electrical prototypes, parts, assemblies, and systems to correct functional specifications and deviations.
- Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of developmental parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results.
- Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment.
- Analyze and interpret test information to resolve design-related problems.
- Conduct inspections for quality control and assurance programs, reporting findings and recommendations to the owners.
- Plan method and sequence of operations for developing and testing electronic and electrical equipment.

What is on offer:
We offer a full-time position and an annual salary in the range of $85,00 to $90,000 plus superannuation.

**Salary**: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
