You’ll be able to work close to home in a dynamic setting featuring cafes and retail options set amongst heritage buildings and open green spaces. **The Opportunity** Working as part of an experienced and innovative event team, this role contributes to the development and the delivery of Council’s dynamic community event program including large - and small-scale outdoor events and corporate functions that align with community needs and objectives as outlined in Council’s Health and Wellbeing plan. Reporting directly to the Arts and Events Coordinator, the role works closely with community and Council employees ensuring all events are ran in accordance with Council’s policies and procedures. **Key Responsibilities** - With support of the Arts and Events team, design, organise, and oversee all aspects of event execution, including logistics, operations, and evaluations. - Support the development and manage event budgets and timelines, ensuring efficient logístical coordination. - Identify and address community needs to effectively tailor event development and management. - Implement and uphold Occupational Health and Safety and risk management strategies to ensure safe and compliant events. - Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and community groups and support internal departments for smooth event delivery.
