**About the Opportunity**

At Metro we are committed to making the journey better for all Tasmanians. We’re seeking a detailed orientated Graduate Transport Data Analyst to enhance our systems through data-driven insights.

**About you**

In this position you will be reporting to our Transport Data Analyst, this is a pivotal position within Metro to ensure our services run smoothly.
- The ability to acquire knowledge and understanding of passenger transport operations and procedures including routes, timetables, duties, and service contract compliance;
- High attention to detail and an ability to present complex data sets clearly and effectively to a range of stakeholders;
- Excellent organisational skills and capacity to coordinate several workflows simultaneously, including the ability to prioritise, plan and work autonomously;
- Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to engage, collaborate and establish relationships with employees at all levels of the organisation.

**You will need**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications;
- Strong desire to develop and implement analytical skills, with an ability to extract, manipulate and interpret data to both fulfil reporting requirements and to provide service planning insights.
