All our clients equipment is designed by the Engineering Department, where detailed AS Build plans are created which generally include detailed structural, mechanical and electrical plans and designs. Once the AS Builds have been completed, the production departments take over in the following specialized departments that include the following;
- **Fabrication**: Structural Steel - Frames, Pipe Spools, Manifolds and Housings
- **Mechanical Assemble**: Pumps, Pipe, Valves & Power (Diesel or Electric Motor)
- **Electrical**: Control Panel Build, Cabling and Terminations
- **Testing**: Electrical & Mechanical Test as well as Final - FAT Testing

**The Role**

The main focus of the work is based around Mechanical Fitting for Mining Products (Pump, motor and pressure piping assembly focused), which is estimated to take up approximately 90% of your time. The pumping equipment may include a large variety of components, parts, fittings and materials which along with a variety of valves can include;

- Centrifugal
- Multi Stage

- Custom Fabricated - Stainless & Carbon Steel
- Stainless, Carbon Steel & Copper tubing
- PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride)
- HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)
- CPVC (Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride)

**Fittings**
- Flange
- Coupling
- SS Press
- Poly

The day to day tasks and responsibilities of this role are varied and largely project based. At times you may be working across a number of jobs and need to be versatile, adaptable and proactive to help ensure jobs meet deadlines.

It is worth noting that the work is “New Build / Assembly” focused where our client utilizes mainly Mechanical Trades Assistants for the standard assembly work and the Mechanical Fitter is utilized for the complex builds.

In addition, you will need to be technically orientated and be able to use your mechanical aptitude and knowledge to potentially undertake tasks you have not been exposed to before but have the initiative to work through them and complete the job.

**Remuneration**

Casual pay rate will be between;
- **$50.00 to $60.00 Per Hour**:

- **+ Over Time**:

- **+ Super**
