Position Title: Administration Officer - Private Patients Clerk
Classification: HS1
Salary per hour (exc. super): $29.58
Hours per fortnight: 38
Employment Status: Ongoing Part Time
Other requirements: COVID-19 Vaccination

**Role Description**

The Private Patient Clerk will work within the Clinical Operations Division. Position is based on ward 5C and involves patients admitted on wards 4C and 5C.

The Private patient clerk will be responsible for reviewing and identifying potential claims for compensable (non-public) patients. The Private patient clerk will ensure all compensable claims are processed in accordance with Bendigo Health processes & procedure to ensure Bendigo Health optimise our revenue.

**The Team**

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute, subacute, allied health, cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical, surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology, Cardiology, Renal, Emergency, Women’s and Children’s, Critical Care, Specialist Clinics, Cancer Clinics, Rehabilitation & Geriatric management and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient, outpatient, community, home and residential care settings.
