About the opportunity
Providing administrative assistance to support Mercy Palliative Care. Mercy Palliative Care is a community based palliative care service in the western metropolitan region of Melbourne. We visit patients in their own homes to provide holistic palliative care
About the role- Casual includes weekends and public holidays- Mercy Palliative Care, Administration, working across Sunshine and Werribee offices- To be an integral part of the Administrative team, contributing to the provision of high quality care for patients and families of the Mercy Palliative Care Program in the community- Being part of a multi-disciplinary team which requires you to provide highly responsive and flexible service to consumers and carers
About you- Experienced and well developed administrative and office skills - is a must, preferably in a health setting- Excellent customer service skills and accurate data entry- Well developed telephone etiquette with demonstrated techniques- Motivated, flexible, extremely reliable, with ability to work at short notice

- Excellent clinical, time management, organisational and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem solve.- A compassionate, flexible and positive approach to effective patient care and management.- The ability to nurture friendly, respectful relationships and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
