**Position Information**:
Batemans Bay High School has a student population of approximately 700 students located on the south coast. The school has links to the local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG) and an Aboriginal Learning Centre to support the 130 Aboriginal students. Batemans Bay High School has 8 support classes that include two ED classes, four MC classes and an IO and IS class catering to the diverse needs of our students. We are a well resourced school in a supportive environment were students benefit from a focus on wellbeing. The building of positive relationships has enhanced educational opportunities and allows students at Batemans Bay High School to achieve educational outcomes.
**Selection Criteria**:
Approval to teach Design and Technology and Technology Mandatory and approval and/or willingness to teach Information processes and technology.
Exceptional teamwork and highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the capacity to work collaboratively with students, staff, school leaders, and the community.
Successful teaching experience with capacity to initiate improvement in teaching, learning, classroom practice, programs, and assessment.
Demonstrated capacity to differentiate teaching and learning for mixed ability classes, including students with challenging behaviours and Aboriginal students.
