Provide support to individuals with disabilities in our arts studio

Run by CPL - Choice, Passion, Life, Artel is a professional art studio, offering a space for artists with disability to express themselves using visual languages that are contemporary, distinctive and undeniably their own.

**We are in need of 2x Direct Support Workers to assist with providing direct support to our clients at our Artel Arts Studio in Redcliffe.**

As a Direct Support Worker, you will not only assist varying individuals with disabilities with personal support, but offering a space for them to create art through different mediums including print, paint, ink, and têxtile design. Artel is a dynamic artistic movement, supporting artists with different skills and communication styles to express themselves.

Hours available for Artel/Cascade include:

- Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 3:30pm
- Dinner Club shifts from 4:00pm - 8:00pm
- Saturday 9:00am - 3:00pm

**This role is ideal for people who**:

- Have a huge passion for the arts and/or creative industries including fashion design
- Are passionate about supporting individuals experiencing disability
- Have experience with working with and providing support to individuals with disabilities is great but not required
- Are great communicators and have good organisational skills
- Are calm and confident in all different environments
- Are looking to supplement current working hours

**Before you commence, you will need**:

- A Blue Card (Working with Children Card)
- An NDIS Worker Screening Check (Working with Individuals with Disabilities, formerly a Yellow Card)
- A valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Full COVID-19 Vaccination Records
- An iPhone with an iOS 13.0 or up operating system, or Android 5.0 or up operating system
- CPL are happy to assist in obtaining these necessary checks if you are successful._
