**Laboratory Technician**

**About the company**:
Our client, a well-known Food and Beverage Organisation located close to Melbourne CBD, require a Laboratory Technician to join their team on a temporary contact basis with the strong view for extension. This is a great opportunity to join an iconic company who is passionate about their products.

This position is perfect for a recent graduate looking to get their foot in the door in a beverage company.

**About the role**:
This is a weekly rotating shift and would require you to work across day, afternoon and night shifts.

Reporting to the Laboratory Manager, your duties may include:

- Routine QC testing of raw materials and finished products
- Monitoring production processes
- Maintaining Quality systems
- Monitoring incoming goods
- Developing and maintaining QA documentation
- Conducting internal audits
- General housekeeping duties

**About you**:

- Completed Bachelor of Science (Food) or Chemistry
- Previous experience working in the food or beverage industry would be an advantage
- Understanding of HPLC and GC
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working in a team
