**About the Department**:

**Role**:Responsibilities include**:

- Lead the implementation of a workforce strategy which seeks to address system, process and cultural barriers to workforce inclusion.
- Develop a co-design process to understand the barriers to employment and career pathways informed by employee insights from the Working for Queensland and School Opinion Survey, and focus groups.
- Develop and implement communication material to support implementation of the workforce strategy or framework to facilitate workplace cultural change.
- Lead the reporting and implementation of actions and recommendations from mandatory Whole of Government specific purpose plans.
- Report on progress to the Public Sector Commission and respond to national strategies and Leadership Board workforce targets.
- Provide strategic and operational advice on the department's workforce strategy initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and holistic innovation in the delivery of high-quality services.
