**Role Summary**:
The Materials Master Data Specialist is an exciting opportunity in our Master Data team based at our Perth CBD office.

The purpose of the role is to create, maintain, and improve the consistency and accuracy of SAP material master data used to source, store, and issue across Thermal Generation Business unit (TGBU) sites, all warehouses and other Synergy locations as directed.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Master data creation, changes, and deletion in SAP MM in accordance with our master data standards
- Analyses master data and standardise material master descriptions as per master data standards to eliminate duplicate, replicate, and obsolete material part numbers
- Define Material/ Item Classification, spares, general or consumable using the item type definitions
- Legacy data clean-up and verification to bring inline with current standards
- Maintain Data Accuracy

**What you’ll bring**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in SAP ERP production environment.
- Extensive experience in material management process within SAP environment
- Extensive experience of SAP Material technical objects
- Knowledge of SAP procurement function
- Extensive knowledge of SAP PM technical objects
