**Role Summary**:
The Manager Pinjar & Regional Gas Generation is an exciting opportunity based at our Pinjar site. The Manager Pinjar and Regional Gas Generation is accountable for leading the management and execution of effective operations, maintenance and asset management plans of Synergy’s Pinjar and Regional gas turbine sites.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:

- Display leadership behaviours that proactively drive cultural and performance improvements, and act as a role model and provide a workplace culture that improves engagement and embraces inclusion and diversity
- Develop and manage an effective team with a performance focus to deliver the Gas Generation plan on page and strategic objectives
- Demonstrate visible safety leadership and build an enduring safety culture, maintaining a safe working environment and participating in observations, audits and inspections
- Lead and develop the Pinjar and Regional Gas Generation team and provide direction and support, including succession planning for Technical Officers
- Ensure plant and equipment is operated and maintained to meet asset mission objectives and health, safety and environmental statutory and licensing requirements

**What you’ll bring**:

- Diploma or degree qualification in engineering or related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant management and leadership experience in a power station or heavy industrial environment
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a complex multidisciplinary team environment
- Extensive knowledge of power generation plant operation and maintenance
- Knowledge and experience in supply chain contracting
