**About the Role**

You'll play an integral part in the daily running of the practice, assisting both **clinically and at reception**.

**Your duties will include**:

- Chairside assisting for general, cosmetic and surgical dental procedures
- Reception and patient coordination
- Administrative support and daily operations
- Stock control, ordering and compliance tasks
- Assisting with team leadership and workflow

This is a **long-term, permanent opportunity** starting in a casual capacity to ensure the right mutual fit.

This position has a clear development pathway into a **Practice Manager** role.
You'll be mentored directly by **Dr Daniel Hu** and supported to grow your leadership, communication and organisational skills over time.

**About You**

We're looking for someone who brings **experience, initiative, and leadership potential** to our team. You'll have a strong work ethic, a proactive mindset, and the confidence to take ownership of daily operations. This role will suit someone who is **ambitious, reliable, and eager to grow** into a leadership position within a supportive and modern dental practice.

**You will have**:

- Minimum **3 years' dental experience** (ideally 5+)
- Strong **all-rounder skills** across assisting, reception, and administration
- Proven **leadership qualities** - confident guiding others, taking responsibility, and setting a positive example
- Excellent **communication and interpersonal abilities**:

- Great **time management** and attention to detail
- A **go-getter attitude** with initiative and the ability to work independently
- Comfortable with **technology and cloud-based software** - experience with Praktika preferred, or similar systems
- A professional, polished, and **team-oriented** approach

**Role Details**
- **Initial casual start**, progressing to **permanent employment**:

- Approx. **30-38 hours per week** (flexible for the right person)

- Availability Requirements

Must be available to work Monday, Wednesday and Friday

Must be able to work early mornings from 7:30am

Must be available for late finishes up to twice a week (between 6:00pm-7:30pm)

Wednesday evening availability is essential (finish at approximately 7:00pm)

**Experience**:

- Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Dental Assitant: 2 years (preferred)
