As an Executive in Credit provisioning team within Group Finance Advisory and Governance, which is within the Financial Management Group of Macquarie, you will be part of the function focused on delivering value to our stakeholders and senior Finance leaders. You will be involved in the delivery of end-to-end credit provisioning process, collaborating with teams across the Financial Management Group and the broader Macquarie group.

**Key Responsibilities**

As an Executive in Credit Provisioning team based on Sydney, you will collaborate with teams across the Macquarie Group, to facilitate the end-to-end credit provisioning processes across the group. This would cover both the operational and reporting aspects of the process

Specifically, you will have the following responsibilities:

- Awareness of the system and ability to manage large datasets within the system which processes the credit provisioning for the group.
- Financial accounting activities including understanding of the chart of accounts, journaling process, posting, reconciliation and ledger review.
- Support the compilation and delivery of meaningful credit provisioning reports/analysis on a monthly and periodic basis.
- interact with key stakeholders in Risk, Finance, and the Business to support their requirements related to credit provisioning.
- Be aware of the projects across the group and be involved in impact reviews and other activities including support for upgrade of the credit provision system.
- Support group finance data initiatives, including understanding of the appropriate governance structures in place.
- Awareness and compliance with prevailing control environment and support the identification of emerging areas of risk.

Ideally you will have worked in financial services or audited financial services companies and have an exposure to financial instruments. You will thrive working in an environment with evolving priorities, which requires an innovative mindset. You will also possess:

- A Commerce/Accounting degree and professional accounting qualifications.
- Effective communication skills, with a genuine willingness to collaborate across the group.
- An adaptable and agile mindset
- An analytical and risk mindset.
- Strong problem solving and good attention to detail.
- Using excel and other reporting tools (like Alteryx and Power BI etc.)
