My Gateway is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated trainee for the Events Department with Wollondilly Shire Council.

As part of the 2 year traineeship, you will be working towards a** Certificate III in Events.**

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Administrative Duties to support councils Events & Community Projects teams
- Assist with Data Entry & CRM systems
- Working to source suppliers, entertainers for a variety of projects and events
- On-Site Event & Program support and management assistance
- Work on events such as: Thirlmere Festival of Steam, Illuminate, Australia Day, Café Connect and Youth Week

**Criteria**:

- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Computer literacy including use of Microsoft programs
- Genuine passion for events
- Customer service experience
- Current Driver licence
- Flexible with the ability to work at Council event including evenings and weekends
- Commitment and ongoing outputs to completing Certificate III Events
