My Gateway has a fantastic opportunity available for a recent school leaver to join Wollondilly Shire Council as a Library Services Trainee.

As part of this 18 month traineeship, you will complete a **Certificate III in Library and Information Services.** This role will involve working within a library in both a customer service position and back office administration role.

**Your responsibilities may include**:

- Customer service
- Loaning and returning books
- Filing
- Shelving books
- Mail outs
- Data entry
- Desktop publishing
- Creating displays
- Create flyers
- Set up events
- Entering information into Council database
- Create spreedsheets
- General ADHOC Duties

**We are looking for someone with the following attributes**:

- Keen to learn
- Motivated
- Ability to follow instructions
- Customer service experience
- Working towards obtaining or currently hold a driver's licence

We are looking for someone with a passion for literature, strong customer service and great communication skills.
