**The Opportunity**:
This pivotal role is responsible for the delivery of engineering services on a wide range of Contestable and Regulated Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) projects across ElectraNet. The projects that you will lead the delivery of include connections of grid scale renewable generation, such as wind farms, solar farms and Battery Energy Storage Systems; major customer loads such as mining entities, large data centres and battery connections; as well as replacement of existing infrastructure to ensure the network remains reliable for the energisation of South Australia’s clean energy future.

As the Design Manager you will be the primary contact for stakeholders for technical requirements and will manage compliance to all ElectraNet’s engineering processes from planning through to handover. This includes:

- Engaging with all stakeholders to influence and develop detailed User Requirements Specifications
- Provide technical leadership across multiple disciplines, and manage resources for all technical deliverables on the project including design and construct contract specifications, design reviews and construction reviews
- Manage and be accountable for the Safety in Design (SiD) process
- Engage and manage consultants delivering engineering services (detailed design, construction, and commissioning activities)
- Oversee all technical aspects of the construction of the project through delivery
- Authorisation of construction project constructions for energisation; and
- Facilitate handover of projects to the asset owner, including all construction and As Built documentation to enable whole of life asset management.

**About You**:
To be successful in securing a position as a Design Manager, you will have:

- Minimum 10 years’ experience in HV/Engineering in Transmission or Distribution Networks
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical, Civil or Structural Engineering
- A service delivery mindset with strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Able to provide technical leadership across multiple disciplines
