We are seeking an **Engineering / Design Manager** to join our Façade Engineering team in Adelaide. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving technical excellence, business growth, and client satisfaction across a diverse portfolio of new build and remediation projects.

You’ll oversee all aspects of façade engineering - from design, documentation and compliance through to project delivery - while leading and mentoring a small team of engineers. Working closely with the Regional Manager, you’ll contribute to regional strategy, strengthen client relationships, and play a pivotal role in the continued growth of Inhabit in Australia.

You will also be responsible for:

- Leading and delivering façade engineering projects from concept through to construction, ensuring high technical standards and compliance
- Providing technical leadership, mentoring and professional development for your team.
- Supporting regional strategic planning, financial management, and business growth initiatives.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
- Actively participating in industry events, networking opportunities, and knowledge-sharing forums to enhance Inhabit’s profile.
- Driving continuous improvement in systems, processes, and project outcomes.

**Qualifications**
- Qualifications in Civil Engineering / Architecture (or related field), with demonstrated experience in the facades industry.
- Proven experience as a design / engineering manager within a consultancy environment.
- Proactive and displays initiative, responding effectively to changing needs.
- Strong problem solving and conducts thorough analysis before making decisions.
- Strong organisational skills to manage design administration, compliance and documentation within identified project deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
