**YHA Blue Mountains **is currently seeking a motivated and driven **Property Manager. **As a Property Manager, you are the driving force of the business. Responsible for all aspects of your hostel, you are empowered to act as a YHA Ambassador to guide the business and your team to thrive. The Property Manager is responsible for the day to day operation and actively collaborating with all support functions at YHA. You are also responsible for developing a team that are sustainable and with a focus of building capability.

**Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to**:

- Overall property operations, finances, and bottom-line results;
- Building and executing business development and marketing plans;
- Achievement of revenue budgets and managing wage and other costs;
- Compliance with YHA quality requirements;
- Management of approximately 15 staff including recruitment, supervision, and training;
- Being the face of YHA in Blue Mountains and promoting YHA through local relationships and marketing initiatives.
- Previous property management of at least 2 years in a similar size property
- The ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and confidently;
- Demonstrated leadership, team management, and mentoring abilities;
- Knowledge of Property Management Systems and advanced computer literacy;
- A passion for the backpacking industry and customer service
