Engineering Assistant

As part of the Test Engineering Department the Engineering Assistant - Data & Test is responsible to support Engineers within various test and data activities in the delivery of class leading products.
About the Role
- Execute test plans in line with project release cycle.
- Support Engineers to recreate product failures for debug.
- Setup test benches for test execution according to defined guidelines.
- Support Data Engineers in data wrangling activities according to defined protocol.
- Collect and curate datasets according to defined data collection protocol.
- Label/Annotate data sets according to defined data annotation protocol.
- Arrange video, annotation output, work-log and other associated files according to procedural guidelines.
- Maintain quality, focus and accuracy during task execution.
- Plan work considering the task difficulties and following project priorities.
- Timesheet compliance

About you
- Minimum year 12 school certificate.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to follow and execute defined workflows.
- Ability to maintain quality, focus and accuracy whilst performing repetitive tasks.
- Proficient in reporting problems using relevant platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google G Suite, Slack, JAMA, TestRail etc.).
- Proficient in English
- Current driver licence
- Effective Team player

Advantageous
- Good data management and/or file management skills.
- Ability to discern issues in the work process and report accordingly to the management team.
- Experience in using image or video editing software (e.g., Photoshop, Movie Maker)
- Understanding of digital image formats.
- Previous experience in video data collection, annotation and testing will be considered an advantage.
- Good interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and enthusiasm for continuous improvement.
