**Your new role**:
Committing to full-time employment with Wagga Wagga City Council, the Cadet Environmental Officer will develop skills in design and delivery of environmental and sustainability projects through hands on experience.

As a Cadet you’ll be welcomed into a structured and dedicated team that values accuracy, resilience, and purpose-driven work. Expect a balance of field and office-based tasks—everything from water testing and flora surveys to event support and data reporting.

You’ll be paid to learn, supported to grow, and encouraged to bring your curiosity and commitment to every challenge. If you’re passionate about sustainability, love working outdoors, and want to make a genuine impact in your community, we’d love to hear from you.

**What you will need to succeed**:

- Enrolment in a Bachelor of Environmental Science, Management, Sustainability or similar
- Class C Driver’s Licence
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and an eye for detail
