About the role
Casusal opportunity to Provide high quality, timely and appropriate levels of security, fire protection and safety services to RBWH as required to ensure the protection of persons, the protection of property, the prevention of crime, the preservation of the peace and the protection of information.
About you
- Provide close personal protection to staff confronting aggressive and volatile situations in the provision of front line health services.
- Prevention, intervention, investigation and recording of crime within the Health Service as defined by statute law, including but not limited to theft, wilful damage, assault, trespass and public nuisance offences.
- Monitor and operate communication equipment and CCTV in a proper and ethical manner.
- Ensure the timely notification of significant events and shift absences to the Senior Security Officer / Coordinator during normal working hours and to the on-call Security Coordinator after hours.
